Start of trial operation of energetic unit in Loučovice

In 2013, the company of Ekol as an EPC contractor put into trial operation the energetic unit producing electricity and technological heat based on burning wooden chips, which is renewable energy source. This energetic unit produces 7.499 kW (7.5 MW) of electrical power.

This technological unit consists especially of delivery of biomass boiler Ekol, type RKF 32 with auxiliaries, and of turbine generator with steam turbine Ekol, type K7,5-6,5E.

Equipment for handling of fuel on the outdoor fuel dump and equipment for transport of fuel into the boiler delivered for this project the company Sedlická strojírna, spol. s r.o.
