Conference Boilers and Power Equipment

The 28th conference Boilers and Power Plants was held from 11 to 13 March 2019 in the premises of the Hotel Voroněž.
The conference dealt with the issues of research and development in the field of power, heating and industrial boilers, cogeneration units, issue of their materials for high parameters and the solution of combustion of various types of fuels including renewable and alternative sources. Experts from production and supplier organizations, research institutes, universities and experienced operators had the opportunity to present the results of their research and experience from boiler operation, their diagnostics and maintenance to the wide professional public.
EKOL was represented at this conference by Prof. Ing. Stanislav Veselý, CSc and Ing. Marek Saňka. Prof. Veselý presented Calculation of temperature of flame tube and lifespna prediction. Presentation by Ing. Saňka discussed optimization of selected steam turbine design nodes using numerical methods.
