The name EKOL is derived from the word "ecology". Since its establishment, the priority of the company has been dealing with environmental problems which arise in gas and steam turbine operation. The main focus is the reducing of harmful emissions when hydrocarbon fuels are burned in the gas turbine combustion chambers. We have implemented more than 250 environmental upgrades of combustion chambers for different gas turbine designs.

Since its establishment in 1991, EKOL has acquired in the field of steam and gas turbines customers from the Czech Republic, Slovakia but also from Germany, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Syria, Romania and France. The export represents approximately 90% of our production. The results of international tenders testify to the world standard of the technical design of our turbines.
