Nile Sugar

Within the project of delivery of a new power generating unit, EKOL, spol. s r.o designed, manufactured, delivered and commissioned a complete unit generating process steam and electricity for the needs of a sugar factory in Egypt, located approximately 54 km south of Alexandria.

The refinery capacity is 7,000 tons of sugar beet per day. The refining capacity is 1,200 tons of raw sugar per day.

The turnkey power plant project comprised primarily two steam turbines and two gas boilers, including installation of all accessory equipment.

The power generating unit for Nile Sugar Factory is one of the most important reference projects of EKOL, spol. s r.o. in power generation for sugar factories.
