Teplárny Brno, a.s.

On 1 September, EKOL signed a contract with Škoda Praha for the delivery of a biomass boiler burning wood chips in Brno North.

The delivery of this 43 MWt boiler is part of the modernisation of the Brno North plant for the company Teplárny Brno, which is intended to reduce dependence on natural gas and at the same time meet the requirements of the present day for the use of renewable sources and the associated reduction of gaseous emissions of harmful substances.

This source will be used to generate electricity and to ensure a constant heat production for the inhabitants of Brno.
