Representatives of Shaanxi Province visited EKOL, spol. s r.o.

Between 22nd and 24th June 2016 the official delegation lead by the Governor of Shaanxi Provincial CPC Committee and Director of Standing Committee of Provincial People’s Congress Mr. Lou Qinjian visited the Czech Republic.

On the 24th June 2016 Mr. Lou Qinjian met Mr. Michal Hašek, the Governor of South-Moravian Region, and both sides signed the Letter of Intent on Developing Sister Region-Province Relationship between the South-Moravian Region of the Czech Republic and the Shaanxi Province of the People’s Republic of China. This meeting was followed by the visit in headquarters of EKOL, spol. s r.o. and discussion with the top managers, who presented the strategic plans and visions. The whole day was finished by the dinner in the friendly atmosphere of Chinese restaurant.

In Prague the meeting about economic cooperation was held. Mr. Lou Qinjian and Mr. Ivo Bárek, Vice-Chairman of Senate of the Czech Republic, gave their speeches. Mr. Lou mentioned that the Czech Republic is the important country in the economical zone along the Chinese Silk Road. Shaanxi Province is the core of the Silk Road and in production, clean energy, bio-medicine and other important areas there is significant potential for the cooperation.

Lou Qinjian pointed out the great results reached by connection of EKOL and ShaanGu. He expressed his hope about the leading role of ShaanGu Group in the further development of the cooperation between Shaanxi Province and the Czech Republic. He informed about his interest to support companies on the Silk Road and his will to aim the mutual profit and development.

Mr. Lou Qinjian visited South-Moravian and Pilsen Region, also the headquarters of company Škoda, TOS Kuřim and CEITEC Science Park (INMEC). On 25th June the delegation moved on their trip around Europe to Hungary.
